BEHIND THE LENS

About Lizzie Burger Stevenson

I'm Lizzie, and I’m lucky enough to photograph incredible people as they experience the best days of their lives. With a background in marketing, I developed a deep appreciation for artistry, storytelling, and refined details, values I bring into every wedding I photograph. Now in my 9th year as a wedding photographer, I specialize in capturing iconic celebrations with a timeless yet effortless approach. My clients are discerning couples who value elegant imagery, impeccable service, and a seamless photography experience. Known for my poised and calming presence, I ensure that every moment is beautifully documented and genuinely felt.

Born and raised in Upstate New York’s Capital Region, I have spent the past decade calling New Jersey home, with much of that time in Hoboken and now Ridgewood. When I’m not capturing celebrations, I cherish time with my husband, our son, and our golden retriever named Maui.

“I’m actually a wedding photographer myself, so choosing a photographer for my own wedding was obviously a HUGE decision. After our consultation, we knew she was "the one," and she's done nothing but exceed our expectations.”

“I keep looking back at our gallery and get emotional. She captured everything - every detail, every feeling”

“I probably talked to over 20 photographers and couldn’t find somebody that I wanted to hire until I found Lizzie. I booked her the same day I talked to her and it was the best decision!”

“Lizzie radiates kindness, professionalism, and good vibes.”

Join the LBP Team

Lizzie Burger Photography is always looking to connect with talented, dependable creatives to join our team. Most weddings take place throughout New York City and the tri-state area and typically require 8–12 hours of coverage. Team members must be comfortable working in a fast-paced wedding environment and collaborating seamlessly to provide an elevated client experience.

All photographers are required to have their own professional equipment, including a mirrorless camera and flash, and be confident shooting in a variety of lighting conditions.

If you’re passionate about wedding photography, value professionalism, and enjoy working as part of a supportive, detail-driven team, I’d love to hear from you.
