Central Park Cherry Blossom Maternity Session

Springtime in New York City is magical, and there is no better place to capture this enchantment than Central Park during cherry blossom season. This year, amidst the soft pink petals and the fresh scent of blooming flowers, I had the honor of photographing Alejandra and Manuel’s maternity session as they anticipated the arrival of their first baby girl.

Central Park is always a picturesque setting, but it truly transforms during cherry blossom season. The delicate flowers create a romantic and ethereal backdrop, perfect for a maternity shoot. The session began at the iconic Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir, where the intricate architecture provided a stunning contrast to the soft cherry blossoms. Next, we moved along the pathways where the blossoms were in full bloom. Alejandra and Manuel walked hand in hand along the winding paths, pausing occasionally to feel the baby kick or share a laugh. These candid moments, set against the backdrop of nature’s splendor, were a testament to their love and the new chapter they are about to embark upon.
