Meet Mr. & Mrs. Tavoli! Katherine and Amir had their dream wedding at The Estate at Florentine Gardens River Vale, NJ and it was very much deserved after postponing a full year. Amir and Katherine both went to Cornell University but didn't meet until after college in NYC when they were introduced by mutual friends. They initially bonded through their ties to Cornell, love for music and live concerts, and their strong sense of cultural identity. Amir proposed to Katherine near Madison Square Park so it was only fitting to capture their engagement photos in the park and the West Village. What an honor to capture two moments in their lives together

Their wedding day with Katherine getting dressed at her childhood home in Queens while Amir and the groomsmen got ready at the Renaissance Hotel Chelsea in New York City. Then we all headed to the venue for their first look, bride and groom, bridal party, and family photos. It was crucial to capture their photos prior to the ceremony due to the early sunset time in January. We were able to capture all their portraits in natural light and they were simply stunning! Katherine and Amir tied the knot at the St Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church in Paramus, NJ surrounded by their closest family and friends. Seeing them together, you can just see their joy and love of life, and I just know that they’ll have so much happiness together in their marriage.

The Estate at Florentine Gardens is an elegant garden wedding venue and the ballroom is flawless. Dahlia Floral & Event Design did such an amazing job with all of the beautiful and unique florals. The ballroom blew everyone away! After their sentimental first dances, all of the guests jumped onto the dance floor and participated in a traditional Romanian Hora. What a cool experience to witness this family tradition. It was such a pleasure getting to celebrate alongside you both, and I cannot wait to see how your love story grows! I’m so happy for you two.
