So happy to have celebrated Sarah & Bryan’s wedding! These two postponed their big day a full year and certainly rolled with the punches and ever-changing rules for weddings. Whitby Castle was a wonderful venue and made their day so memorable. If you’re looking for a castle wedding, Whitby Castle has to be on your list. Whitby Castle overlooks the Long Island Sound in Rye, New York. This timeless turn-of-the-century castle boasts breathtaking views of Milton Harbor, a golf course, spiral staircase, stain glass windows, and a grand reception ballroom.

Sarah & Bryan met while in college at the University of Albany. Their mutual friend, Jordan, was their wedding officiant. During getting ready, Sarah and Bryan were so calm. After dating for many years, they were so overjoyed to finally get married. After these two shared a sentimental and tear-filled first look, we captured their wedding part portraits, bride and groom portraits, and family formal photos all before the ceremony. This means these newlyweds were able to be present and relaxed during their cocktail hour.

Lizzie was absolutely wonderful to work with. Our original wedding date was postponed due to the pandemic and Lizzie was actually a replacement for our first photographer. Looking back we are actually so happy that the original did not work out. From the very first conversation with her we immediately knew that she was a significantly better choice. Lizzie was so nice and understanding of the situation and everything going on in the world. She was so reassuring given the uncertainty of the wedding. Very shortly after our initial meeting she sent us a beautiful welcome package with a few relaxing products and a photography guide for helping us start planning out our photography wants. She was in constant contact throughout the lead up to the wedding and always made sure we had everything we needed. In the end there were a few minor adjustments that we needed to make due to venue/time regulations and Lizzie was so accommodating. At the actual wedding Lizzie and her assistant Carol were such a pleasure to work with. They were both so friendly and made everything so smooth and easy for us. They honestly were so perfect and exactly what we were looking for. They provided a perfect amount of direction and made sure we got the absolute best photos. Lizzie even stayed after our contracted time to make sure that we had all of the photos that we wanted with individual guests. I think it wasn't even 24 hours after the wedding that we received our "sneak peak" photos. They were so stunning and beautiful. We received our full set of photos not long after and they are absolutely perfect. Lizzie and Carol did such an amazing job. We are so in love with the photos and so happy they were able to capture our special day in the perfect way.
