Cherry blossom season in New York City is the absolute best! In Central Park, the cherry blossoms bloom the last two weeks of April. On this weekday morning at sunrise with Olivia & Ryan, we could not have asked for a prettier day. The cherry blossoms by Central Park’s Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir were in full bloom and the sun was shining. There’s nothing as beautiful as Central Park this time of year. Whenever clients mention cherry blossoms for their engagement portraits, I get so excited.

At the start, Olivia wore a beautiful flowy light blue dress while Kyle wore a classic navy suit. Once we made it up to the tennis courts, these two switched into an elegant white and blue combo. Everything was epic for their sunrise engagement photos... the glow, cherry blossoms, and most importantly their love. I can’t wait to capture Olivia & Ryan’s 2022 wedding at Diamond Mills in Saugerties. NY.

When selecting a date for our engagement shoot, Lizzie was extremely accommodating and helped us pick the most perfect day in April so we could fulfill my dream of having the Central Park cherry blossoms in bloom for our photos. When I changed the location in Central Park the day before, she was understanding and easy-going about it. The photoshoot is something my fiancé and I will always remember and cherish. She made us feel so comfortable and we had a lot of fun and laughs with her during the process! She delivered our “sneak peak” almost immediately and the full gallery well in advance of when she promised she would. We have so many options for our Save The Dates and I can't wait to work with Lizzie again for our June 2022 wedding!!
