September weddings are so charming—the golden hues of early autumn, the lingering warmth of summer, and a crisp breeze that adds just the right amount of romance to the air. This past September, I had the privilege of capturing Ariana & Luke’s stunning wedding at Felina, an extraordinary venue located in the heart of Ridgewood, New Jersey.

Felina is a modern, sophisticated space that effortlessly blends contemporary elegance with timeless charm. Located in a beautifully restored bank building, its soaring ceilings, intricate details, and abundance of natural light make it a photographer’s dream. For Ariana & Luke’s wedding, the venue was adorned with lush florals and soft candlelight, setting a warm and inviting ambiance that perfectly complemented the couple’s vision. As a photographer, Felina’s unique blend of modern design and vintage charm provided endless opportunities for creative storytelling.

Bride & Groom Portraits in Ridgewood

The day began with the bride and groom and their bridal party getting ready at a nearby boutique hotel. The anticipation built as the couple shared an emotional first look on the rooftop. This moment was filled with laughter, tears, and a palpable sense of joy that set the tone for the entire day. Capturing bride and groom portraits outside Felina and around downtown Ridgewood was equally enchanting. The historic architecture of the venue’s exterior provided a sophisticated backdrop, while the charming streets of Ridgewood added a touch of quaint romance. From strolling hand-in-hand past boutique storefronts to sharing a quiet moment beneath the vibrant autumn trees, each scene reflected the couple’s love and the town’s picturesque charm.

Ceremony at Felina

The ceremony took place in Felina’s stunning main hall, where sunlight streamed through the oversized windows, casting a soft glow over the couple as they exchanged their vows. The intimate gathering of family and friends added a layer of warmth and intimacy that made the ceremony truly special.

Sophisticated Felina Reception

As the sun set, the reception kicked off with a lively cocktail hour featuring gourmet hors d’oeuvres and signature drinks inspired by the couple’s favorite flavors. Inside the reception hall, guests were treated to an exquisite dinner prepared by Felina’s talented culinary team. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the couple’s first dance. Set to a romantic ballad, their choreographed routine was a testament to their dedication and love for one another. From there, the party erupted as guests filled the dance floor, celebrating well into the night.
